          How is your PTFE plate manufactured?

          Our PTFE plates are produced through a process called compression molding or skiving. In compression molding, PTFE resin is compressed between heated molds under high pressure to form the desired shape and dimensions of the plate. In skiving, PTFE resin is extruded into a sheet, and then thin layers are shaved off to achieve the desired thickness.

          How do you meet the challenges of thin plate processing?

          For precision machining of thin plates, we would consider using support fixtures, vacuum fixtures, or adhesive backing to minimize plate deformation during machining.

          Can your PTFE plate be fabricated into other components?

          Yes, our PTFE plates are versatile and can be machined or fabricated into various components, such as gaskets, washers, seals, and insulators.
